The AES awarded two Senior Book Prizes and an honorable mention at the 2024 AAA meetings in Tampa, Florida on November 21.  The two co-winners were Suzana Sawyer for The Small Matter of Suing Chevron (Duke UP) and Adriana Petryna for Horizon Work: At the Edges of Knowledge in an Age of Runaway Climate Change (Princeton UP).  The honorable mention was awarded to Gilberto Rosas for Unsettling: The El Paso Massacre, Resurgent White Nationalism, and the US-Mexico Border (Johns Hopkins UP).  The award committee consisted of Daromir Rudnyckyj (University of Victoria, chair), Sameena Mulla (Emory U), and Brandon Hunter-Pazzara (Georgetown U).
