On February 1, AES issued a statement condemning the Trump Administration’s executive order on immigration. On March 6 the Trump
Administration issued a revised executive order. We oppose the new executive order too, endorsing the formal statement by the American
Anthropological Association that the revised order “does not differ in spirit from the order issued in January even as there are differences in certain respects.”
